Over the next few weeks, Rebecca Joseph will provide college readiness tips for counselors working with high school juniors. There is so much high school counselors can do to help students, so that they finish their high school experience on a high note and prepare for the college journey ahead. As we know, college admissions counselors look at a variety of factors in the admission process, including applicants’ grades and coursework, academic rigor, test scores, extracurricular experiences and community involvement, and writing responses. Rebecca will also talk about how to assist students in researching colleges and much more. These pieces will cover many of these areas and hopefully begin conversations with those of you engaged in this valuable process. This mini-series starts today!
