2021 Bylaw Revision Vote April 6-27

The Bylaws for the Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC) provide the framework for our operations. The Bylaws define our purpose, explaining that we are chartered regional affiliate of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), requiring our Bylaws to remain consistent with the governing documents of NACAC. The WACAC Bylaws define our membership, provide guidance to the Executive Board, and provide processes to change or amend any part of the Bylaws.

This spring WACAC members are asked to approve newly revised bylaws that address issues of clarity, compliance, and COVID-19. The materials provided below are intended to educate voters on both the need for the revisions, and the rationale behind the changes – members are encouraged to review in advance of the voting period April 6-27, 2021.
