The Admissions Counselor is responsible for promoting the WSU System with a focus on both the WSU Pullman and Spokane campuses. This includes providing support to both campuses on prospect development, admissions guidance, and advising.

The position is responsible for promoting undergraduate programs by developing, expanding, and strengthening key relationships with leaders in education and communities in the assigned area. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining key relationships with Spokane undergraduate academic programs and key partners representing WSU Pullman.

In addition, this position will also build and maintain strong working relationships with high school and college transfer counselors, teachers, and other administrators to increase prospective student inquiries, applications, confirmations, and enrollment. Additional duties include representing both campuses at university, campus and community events that include recruitment fairs, campus recruitment events, admitted student receptions, etc.

This position will also represent both WSU Spokane and Pullman on various committees, attend internal training meetings, and participate in professional development opportunities both internally and externally.

This position must be available to work a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends.
