Senior Admissions Specialist

The Senior Admissions Specialist plays a pivotal role in leading and guiding the out-of-state recruitment team within the Admissions Office, reporting directly to the Associate Director of Recruitment. This position requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills as the candidate will work with prospective students, parents, high school counselors, USU departments, and other constituents.

As a leader in recruitment efforts, the successful candidate will be instrumental in recruiting targeted student populations, exploring/identifying potential growth markets, and building relationships with students, faculty, and staff across USU’s 30 campuses and nine academic colleges. The candidate must be a self-starter and work well independently and a collaborative team leader, fostering a cohesive team environment while driving recruitment strategies.

This position can be located anywhere in the United States. This position allows for flexibility in the work schedule and can accommodate slight variations to traditional business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work is required. Responsibilities may vary depending on the candidate’s work location.
