Admissions Counselor

The University of Utah is a highly regarded research university situated between the Wasatch Mountains and Salt Lake City. With a student population of over 34,700, including more than 26,300 undergraduates, it is the state’s public flagship institution. The University is dedicated to providing its students with an extraordinary academic and co-curricular experience.
 
The Office of Admissions is an active and expanding team that assists potential students in learning about and enrolling at the University of Utah. We are seeking a welcoming, enthusiastic, and confident admissions counselor to join our staff. The counselor will aid us in broadening our recruitment efforts both within and outside of the state, increasing our enrollment of new students, and molding the incoming class. They will offer guidance to prospective students, their families, high school counselors, and acquire a comprehensive understanding of admissions strategies, institutional regulations, and program options to effectively attract students. The admissions counselor will join a recruitment team in the Emma Eccles Jones Welcome Center, a state-of-the-art building located in the heart of the University’s campus.
