Job Summary:
The Assistant Director of Transfer Admission provides oversight and management for the recruitment, enrollment, and retention of undergraduate transfer students to the Hilltop and/or branch campuses. This position will also support office-wide undergraduate recruitment, transfer application generation, and the enrollment efforts of a talented and diverse transfer class that meets institutional enrollment goals. In recognition of the University’s commitment to the transfer student population and pathways, this position will report to the Director of Transfer Admission and will help support the management and development of a data-driven and mission-focused plan to support domestic and international transfer student outreach and engagement. Additionally, a key function of the Assistant Director of Transfer Admission is supporting the Director in developing strategy and related management of the outreach, recruitment, and selection process for the Bachelor of Arts in Management (BAM) degree completion program. This position will regularly consult with School of Management leadership to ensure that the outreach and engagement activities of this position are in alignment with BAM enrollment goals.
The Assistant Director of Transfer Admission is responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating activities related to transfer recruitment, multicultural recruitment, community college counselor relations and events, and campus events and programming. In addition to participating in a full complement of admission recruitment and evaluation activities for transfer and first-year students, this position serves as a resource to SEM staff on transfer nursing admission requirements, veteran recruitment best practices, and BAM policies.
