Prior to Pacific, Wardell-Ghirarduzzi served as dean of students and vice provost of diversity and community engagement at University of San Francisco. She is president of the San Francisco Public Library Commission, is on the executive board of the Ignatian Solidarity Network and chairs the Urban Libraries Council.
