The San Diego NACAC conference planning team is excited to head to Indianapolis next week for the annual conference.  We are looking forward to learning more about the city and the educational options for students in the area.  Similarly, we know that hosting the NACAC conference in San Diego next year will allow our colleagues from around the US and across the globe to see all the city and state have to offer.

We are excited to showcase the educational opportunities in our state and to bring trends and issues that effect the West to the forefront.  Hosting the conference in San Diego also allows us to highlight the outstanding work of our WACAC members!

As Katy Murphy, President of NACAC recently stated, “When NACAC comes to San Diego, the world comes to San Diego . . . to see the best of what Western ACAC has accomplished and to enjoy our hospitality.  We expect over 7,000 professionals from Lansing to Las Vegas to Lausanne to Lhasa to come to our part of the world and learn about our students, our schools and universities and how Western members work hard to serve our students and institutions.  What a chance to showcase how many things we do well!”  We know that our WACAC members represent the best of the college admissions profession and we’re looking forward to shining a light on all the work that you do.

We hope that you all will sign up to volunteer to welcome and assist our colleagues next year in San Diego.  Click here learn more about the Local Advisory Committee and volunteer opportunities.

See you in Indy!
