By all accounts, the Indianapolis NACAC conference was a huge success — there were great professional development sessions, lots of vendors to chat with (the glamour shot booth was brilliant!) plenty of walk-able restaurants and bars to connect with colleagues, convenient hotels, and perfect weather!  Indianapolis certainly revved up our engines and we are rounding the first bend of the planning for the National Conference that will be held here in San Diego next year from October 1-3, 2015.

The San Diego committee chairs had a very informative meeting with the planning team at the Indianapolis conference and we are ready for the final lap of our preparations!  The attendance at Indianapolis was at a record high with over 6,040 people in attendance,  and NACAC is preparing for a large number of registrations for the San Diego conference.  We were so impressed with the number of volunteers at the events in Indy — by committing just an hour or two they kept things running smoothly and made everyone feel welcome.  We hope you will join in the fun and volunteer a few hours of your time to make the conference a success.

Stay tuned, as we ride the wave to the San Diego 2015 Conference; follow this blog and the Facebook Conference page.

The call for proposals page for NACAC is being set up now, the deadline for submission is January 8, 2015.  We hope to see a lot of WACAC brilliance and passion shared in the 2015 sessions.
