The AVP International Admission develops the student recruitment strategy and leads the recruitment and admission effort for international students which allows USF to achieve its vision of being a global institution.The Assistant Vice Provost for International Admission is a member of the Strategic Enrollment Management leadership team, reporting to the Vice Provost for Strategic Enrollment Management. The position is responsible for developing strategies that ensure that USF meets its international new student UG enrollment goals and assisting graduate programs in meeting their goals. International student enrollment goals are established by the VP SEM, in consultation with the Provost, University Cabinet and USF’s BOT. To accomplish this task, the AVP International Admission develops and leads the implementation of strategy and appropriate tactics for the marketing, outreach, recruitment, selection, and enrollment of freshman and transfer students for the traditional undergraduate programs. This includes providing strategic direction for planning, management and coordination of processes, programs events, travel, and relationships with high schools, community colleges, counselors, students, parents, faculty, and alumni/parent/student volunteers. The AVP International Admission collaborates with USF academic and administrative leaders, faculty and staff members, enrolled USF students and SEM leadership team members and others across the Division of Strategic Enrollment Management to achieve enrollment and retention goals. In addition The AVP collaborates with the AVP for Graduate Enrollment and recruitment and admission staff within the schools and colleges on graduate recruitment efforts.
