The Associate Director for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of CRM, including outbound communication efforts, event management, and application review. The incumbent works closely with the Associate Directors for IT & Business Operations for application review, and the Associate Director for Marketing, Communication & Professional Development for communication strategies.

This individual serves as the chief liaison between the end users and the vendor as well as overseeing day-to-day operations/ management of the CRM. The incumbent manages various recruitment and yield-related communication related to events, communication flows, and admission decision release at the highest volume admission office in the country. This role provides critical leadership in setting new direction for the strategic use of CRM, including application review, development of portals, user training, and ongoing support for CRM users.

The individual supervises other CRM team members, and has complete oversight of Slate, and provides data analysis to support and develop new tactics and strategies communications and programmatic efforts. The incumbent also serves as liaison between and collaborates with Undergraduate Admission and other campus units for their use of Slate.

The incumbent represents UCLA and Undergraduate Admission to internal and external constituents and participates in university and systemwide committees. Additionally, this position serves as a senior member of Undergraduate Admission leadership, resource team and is involved in applicant review and selection.
