Job Description
The University Admissions office is a dynamic environment which requires dedicated professionals to engage, excite, and enroll qualified students to Northern Arizona University to help meet enrollment goals. With a large recruitment staff that manage territories across the country, the Student Recruitment Coordinator, Senior role is needed to help train and mentor entry level Admissions Officers as they begin to manage their own territory. The Student Recruitment Coordinator, Senior position is intended for seasoned Admissions Officers who have managed a territory or territories for at least three years and can provide expertise to new staff and support the University Admissions Leadership Team in the management of the recruitment and orientation areas of the office.
This position is required to work some evenings and weekends. This position is responsible for the following: recruiting traditionally aged freshman students in the Greater Los Angeles County or Orange County area, along with Kern, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties.
Recruitment – 40%
Cultivates and manages a recruitment territory or territories to recruit qualified students to the university. Specifically, this territory will manage freshman student recruitment in the Greater Los Angeles County or Orange County area, along with Kern, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties.
Program Strategy/Management – 20%
Travel – 20%
Coordinates, implements, and participates in visits to high schools, community colleges, and other university sponsored and/or approved recruitment events.
Participates in trainings periodically on-campus in Flagstaff, as well as via web and/or phone.
Consultation/Communication – 15%
Other – 5%
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Three years of relevant experience.
Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Salary range begins at $64,480. Annual salary commensurate with candidate’s qualifications and related experience.
