Holy Names University, a private, Catholic institution in Oakland, California, invites applications for the position of Vice President for Enrollment Management. Reporting directly to President Michael Groener, the vice president will oversee the efforts of the office of admission responsible for undergraduate, graduate, adult, transfer and online populations, as well as the office of financial aid, working with prospective and current students.
In addition, the vice president will collaborate closely with the President and other senior staff to implement enrollment strategies to meet institutional priorities and goals in conjunction with the five-year strategic business plan developed by the President, his Cabinet and the Board of Trustees. This proactive approach to the challenges of higher education today calls for recalibrating academic offerings, competitive pricing, strengthening recruitment efforts of transfer and adult students, and optimizing the mission of the University. The charge for the position will be to aggressively and authentically build volume of interested prospects, applicants and especially, enrolled students. The new vice president will bring significant energy, customer service orientation, focus on the care of current and prospective students, and will possess a boundless enthusiasm for partnering with others on cabinet and within the division to bring success in recruitment, admission and enrollment efforts.
