Job Description:
Provide prospective students with information about Mount Saint Mary’s University and support their application and enrollment processes.  Plan, coordinate and conduct recruitment activities within designated geographical areas and review students’ applications for admission.

Engage with prospective MSMU students by visiting high schools and community colleges and attending college fairs throughout California and various western states to generate applications for admission.
Cultivate positive relationships with counseling staff at high schools and community colleges so they can partner with the University in generating applications for admission.
Plan, coordinate and execute programs for prospective students and their parents, high school and community college counselors, and independent educational consultants to generate interest in MSMU.
Interact in a professional manner with a variety of constituents outside of the University who are in a position to influence prospective students.
Work closely with and support prospective students and applicants through the admissions process via telephone, email, and personal contact throughout the course of the admission cycle.
Plan, coordinate, confirm, and execute a schedule of recruitment activities including high school and community college visits, college nights and fairs, workshops and presentations. This includes managing all travel arrangements within a stipulated budget.
Evaluate admission applications and supporting documents (i.e. school transcripts, test scores, references, essays) from applicants in assigned recruitment territories.
Participate in Admission Office and relevant MSMU events throughout the year.
Maintain a visible relationship on both MSMU campuses.

Working knowledge of the structure of college admissions and of public and private high school counseling; analysis of transcripts and standardized admission tests; and the role of an Associate of Arts degree versus a Bachelor’s degree.
Understanding of financial aid policies and procedures is helpful.
Familiarity with Salesforce/TargetX CRM desired.
