Guiding students and families through the college admissions process can be challenging, fulfilling, and thrilling. A dynamic, growing college admissions consulting firm in Pasadena is looking to grow through the addition of an associate consultant.
Colledge offers individualized, one-on-one counseling aimed at helping students and families find the best-fit colleges for them. We offer guidance on all aspects of the college admissions process, including guidance with the personal statement, test recommendations, the college list, extracurricular activities, college interviews, visiting colleges, and financial aid and scholarships. Colledge serves the greater San Gabriel Valley area, and is committed to serving a diverse array of students.
We are in need of an experienced candidate with a passion for college admissions and a gift for working with students and families.
The associate consultant will work directly with and under the supervision of the owner and founder of Colledge. We offer detailed, compensated consultant training, a flexible schedule, and reasonable, per-hour compensation. Consulting sessions take place on weeknights and weekends, and hours during busy season will average 10-15 hours per week.
An ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of either college admissions experience at a 4-year non-profit college or university or at least 3 years in college counseling experience at a secondary school and a bachelor’s degree. Clear communication, the ability to listen well and strong organizational skills are a must. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint skills are key skills, as is a familiarity with Naviance.
