 ’ll provide you with everything you need to know to advocate to lawmaker
 s\, starting with a California 101 legislative briefing to help you unders
 tand the process\, timelines\, budget\, bills and issues facing education 
 in the state.\n\n\n\nOnce you’ve been briefed\, it’s time to act! On T
 uesday\, March 4\, you’ll get the chance to meet in-person with Californ
 ia legislators or their staff. You'll have an opportunity to share your li
 ved experiences helping students navigate high school completion\, college
  access\, the transition to higher education and daily job duties througho

 nReimbursements\n\n\n\n\nWACAC will reimburse attendees for half the cost 
 of their single-occupancy one-night stay ($249 +/night plus taxes\, etc.) 
 or the full cost of their double-occupancy one-night stay at The Citizen H
 otel for the conference.\n\n\n\nAttendees are responsible for their own tr
 ansportation costs to and from the conference.\n\n\n\nWACAC will pay for p
 arking on March 3 and 4 ($40/night).\n\n\n\n\nYou must be a WACAC member t
