We strongly encourage you to stay at one of the host hotels, the Monterey Marriott and the Portola Hotel and Spa for a number of reasons. We have worked with both properties to ensure conference attendees receive a special rate lower than any other available rates for those nights. Besides the preferred rates, both of the hotels are physically connected to the Monterey Conference Center in downtown Monterey. It doesn’t get more convenient than that! Filling these room blocks at the host hotels is required for low conference room rentals rates paid by WACAC that create lower conference registration rates for you. If all host hotels room blocks are full, we ask that you at least stay at a hotel in the Monterey City limits rather than neighboring towns to also meet WACAC’s agreement with the city of Monterey.
