An organization is only as strong as the rules that govern its actions. WACAC’s bylaws are designed to ensure that the organization meets its members’ needs and promotes best practices among college counselors and admission professionals in California and Nevada.
Our Credential Committee reviews WACAC bylaws each year to recommend any changes; if changes are recommended, they are voted on by the membership at the same time as Executive Board and Assembly Delegate elections are held.

SACRAMENTO, CA—The Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC) has hired Sacramento-based
education lobbyist Pamela Bachilla to represent the Association’s priorities in California and Nevada. WACAC
announced the decision at its annual Sacramento legislative conference, and Bachilla delivered her first testimony on
behalf of the organization at a hearing of the Assembly Budget Subcommittee on Education on February 10.
