WACAC Annual Conference

The largest event WACAC hosts for our members is our annual conference, held each spring. The conference helps our members unwind, rejuvenate and reconnect – and make the most of professional development opportunities during the three-day event. Extensive Pre-Conference Workshops and a one-day Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access workshop are held in conjunction with the conference.

Conference Housing

 

We are pleased to announce that all conference housing is at the beautiful John Ascuaga Nugget Resort Hotel in Sparks, Nevada. (Located just 2 miles north of the Reno-Tahoe International Airport)

The JA Nugget is located at 1100 Nugget Avenue, Sparks, NV  89431.  The hotel phone is 775-356-3300 and the toll free reservations number is 800-648-1177 

All room reservations must be MADE ONLINE at http://www.januggetsecure.com/jump/1519.  Deluxe Rooms are $75/night + tax and fees, and Premium Rooms are $85/night + tax and fees.  All rooms include either a King Bed or 2 Queen Beds.  Both Non-Smoking and Smoking rooms are available.  Rates include free shuttle to/from airport, free parking, free wireless Internet in guest rooms and unlimited access to the pool and fitness center.
